Dr. Scott Wyzykoski, DDS

Julie Malcolm, RN

Owners/Managers

We have been married since 2009, and we started Bentley Family Dentistry in 2018 together and had 2 ridiculously loveable daughters in the short time since.

Dr. Wyzykoski grew up about 50km southwest of Bentley in a log house on a small family farm that he is still proud to be a part of today.   He has always called Alberta home and loves living in Central Alberta, regardless of the harsh winter weather. He was a rodeo cowboy, in what seems like a previous life, for over 20 years. He considers himself first, and foremost, a cowboy.

Julie is responsible for the tasteful renovation of this building for dental use and is also our infection control guru and dental RN for surgical procedures. She has had 2 other jobs. One as a part-time Operating Room Nurse in Red Deer and two, as an OT specialist with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) in not-so-touristy places, although motherhood has suspended that calling for a few years.
Scott and Julie work closely together everyday and share a common goal to help patients achieve optimal outcomes. Julie’s extensive OR nursing has greatly contributed to a very high level of implant, surgical, and sedation services at Bentley Family Dentistry. Julie is also a certified Buteyko Breathing coach and together they are dedicated to working with a multidisciplinary team to help children and adults with airway- related development issues. Scott has spent the last 13 years of his career expanding his knowledge and repertoire of options to help people with a variety of cranio-facial and jaw-related issues. Our entire staff of health care professionals will strive to help you find as many viable treatment options as possible and help you navigate the areas of both our public health care system as well as private health care options.

Dr. Della Summers

General Dentist

I graduated from the U of S College of Dentistry in 1983, marking the start of my lifelong dedication to enhancing my skills in creating beautiful smiles through ceramic restorations, bonding, and Invisalign. My career in dentistry has been enriched by a vast number of procedures, allowing me to broaden my expertise in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, implant placement, TMD treatment with appliances, root canals (Endodontics), and using Invisalign or Clear Correct for teeth straightening. I consider myself one of the fortunate individuals who truly loves their profession. As such, I am committed to continuous learning and keeping up with the dynamic advancements in the field of dentistry. I am thrilled to be a part of Dr. Scott’s team at Bentley Family Dentistry. After my time in corporate dentistry, I am delighted to be in a private practice where each person is valued and treated with dignity. The atmosphere of small-town life, along with the laughter and tight-knit connections of the team, brings me immense joy. Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family, volunteering with local dog rescues, and engaging with the Special Olympics..

My name is Tessa and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist that graduated from the University of Alberta with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2018, and then a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019. I am currently living in Blackfalds, and have been working at Bentley Family Dentistry since February of 2019. I love the small town feel and sense of community that comes with working in a rural dental office, and I can’t wait to keep meeting all of the great people in Bentley and the surrounding towns!

I grew up in Blackfalds and was involved in the competitive dance community in central Alberta before I pursued a career in dental hygiene. I always knew that I wanted to be a part of the dental profession from a young age, and I am very excited and proud to be here. When I am not at work, I enjoy being outside with our dog Jobi, cooking, camping and travelling whenever I get the chance! My husband Taylor and I are excited to be welcoming our second baby into the world Summer of 2025. I continue to enjoy being part of the Bentley community and promoting great oral health!
